mecavisionHD+: A much better picture quality
Clearer pictures, brilliant colours, smooth motion sequences, perfect contrast: mecavisionHD+, the LCD technology developed by Metz, ensures outstanding picture quality – and is eye-friendly. Even when viewing high-resolution HDTV signals, it ensures perfect motion compensation, reproducing complex images such as text, elaborate patterns and colour edges in true-to-life detail. To provide a first-class viewing experience, PRESTIGEHD television also features a dynamic backlight, LUX automatic
contrast, dynamic image clarity optimisation, 3D comb filters, in-plane switching (IPS), dynamic noise reduction, CTI and other technologies that improve the picture. A further advantage: thanks to HDMI technology

The PRESTIGE^HD television displays films (e.g. in Blu-ray format) in their, pure unadulterated form with 24 pictures per second – the exact picture frequency used to record and store films and show them in the cinema.

The SRS WOW® system ensures brilliant treble and bass reproduction. For a complete sound experience, the PRESTIGEHD television is equipped with a 2-way bass-reflex system.

LED backlight
LED backlight technology uses extremely long-lasting light diodes to illuminate the LCD panel. With local area dimming, individual segments can be dimmed or brightened automatically and independently of each other to complement the picture on the screen, achieve higher contrasts and display dark areas better. The adjustable brightness feature considerably increases energy efficiency and reduces power consumption.

Full HD
The PRESTIGEHD television is equipped with the latest technology and offer amazingly sharp full HD picture resolution with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

HD integrated
A picture in exceptional detail that is up to five times as clear: HDTV is the broadcasting standard of the future. The PRESTIGEHD television is already equipped with an integrated HD-receiver.

Optimum motion display
Excellent picture clarity even during high-motion scenes: the 200-hertz technology quadruples the frame rate of the PRESTIGEHD television. Combined with the dynamic motion compensation (DMC), which interposes algorithmically computed frames, it ensures an optimum motion display with an even smoother overall flow.

200-Hz technology
By combining the tried-and-tested technology of dynamic motion compensation with LED backlight technology, the PRESTIGEHD television is able to achieve the next level of motion optimisation. The DMC chip calculates additional motion sequences and the LED backlight is adjusted within four areas of lighting. This so-called scanning backlight considerably improves perception of motion sequences.

Digital-Recorder integrated
Enjoy your favourite programmes whenever you feel like it – with the Digital-Recorder. You will never have to miss your favourite show again and you can watch your favourite film as often as you want. The unique simultaneous recording function also allows you to record one channel while watching another. With the timeshift function you can pause and resume live TV whenever you feel like it. The storage capacity is 500 GB. It holds up to 100 hours of HD-quality video or 500 hours of SD-quality video.

timeshift function
Make a cup of tea, answer the phone or watch an exciting conclusion again and again. With the timeshift function, you can pause live digital TV any time or watch your favourite scene over again. You can even stop to watch something else: simply pause the programme you are watching and then change the channel. With the timeshift function, your favourite show waits for you.

Picture-in-picture (PIP)
Watch two different channels at the same time – during commercial breaks, for example: the practical picture-in picture (PIP) function makes it possible.
